会上,37000cm威尼斯党委书记、中国科学院院士谭铁牛,介绍和阐释了学校开设“人工智能通识核心课程体系”的重要意义。
At the meeting, Tan Tieniu, Party Secretary of Nanjing University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, outlined the critical importance of introducing this system.
他表示,启动“人工智能通识核心课程体系”建设是贯彻落实习近平总书记有关重要论述的必然要求,是与时代同步、培养时代新人的必然要求,是为党育人、为国育才满足国家需求的必然要求。
He stated that initiating the construction of the "General Education Core Curriculum System in Artificial Intelligence" is an essential requirement to study and implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important address, a necessary step to align with contemporary developments and nurture talents for the new era, and a fundamental requirement to cultivate talent for the Party and the State.
他指出,当今世界,由人工智能引领的新一轮科技革命和产业变革方兴未艾。在移动互联网、大数据、超级计算、传感网、脑科学等新理论新技术驱动下,人工智能已经对经济发展、社会进步、全球治理等各方面产生重大而深远的影响。
He noted that today's world is witnessing an emerging new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation led by artificial intelligence. Driven by new theories and technologies such as mobile internet, big data, supercomputing, sensor networks, and neuroscience, artificial intelligence has already had a significant and profound impact on economic development, social progress, and global governance.

谭铁牛强调,学校在充分调研和研讨人工智能课程“教什么”“谁来教”“何时教”“怎么教”“如何评”五大问题的基础上,精心设计推出“人工智能通识核心课程体系”,并将大力加强师资队伍建设,加强教学资源建设,加强人工智能相关学科建设,并以人工智能赋能办学治校。
Tan Tieniu highlighted that after detailed research on what, who, when, how to teach, and how to assess, the university crafted the "General Education Core Curriculum System in Artificial Intelligence." It plans to boost faculty, enhance teaching resources, develop AI disciplines, and use AI to improve governance and education.
