Recently, Tan Tieniu, Chair of the University CPC Committee and Academician of CAS, led a delegation to the King’s College London  (KCL). Prof. 'Funmi Olonisakin, Vice-President International, Engagement and Service (IES) at KCL, warmly welcomed the delegation. 

The two parties discussed potential cooperation in fields such as medicine. Tan Tieniu highlighted the current cooperation between the two universities, especially in biomedicine. He expected that the two universities would jointly cultivate medical talents with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. 

The two sides also exchanged views on establishing a joint seed fund and collaborative research projects to promote the cutting-edge scientific research in the medical field.
