From September 2 to 6, 2024, Nanjing University welcomed over 500 international freshmen from 49 countries and regions.

Currently, NJU has 1,400 international students from 76 countries and regions, 60 percent of whom are in degree programs across 34 departments. The top ten countries with the most students are South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Russia, Germany, Japan, France and Pakistan.

The Institute for International Students, Nanjing University, meticulously prepared various welcoming activities over the coming weeks to help new students make friends and better integrate into campus life.

By committing itself to providing exceptional educational resources and diverse learning experiences, NJU aims to create a broad platform for the growth of international students and facilitate exchanges between students from various cultural backgrounds.
