Tan Zhemin visits Northwestern University

On September 25, Tan Zhemin, President of NJU, led a delegation to Northwestern University, and met with Devora Grynspan, Vice President for International Affairs. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on cooperation in international scientific research and talent training. The two universities will be guided by specific cooperation projects to build a pragmatic inter-school cooperation network.

On the afternoon of the same day, President Tan Zhemin visited Querrey Simpson Bioelectronics Institute of Northwestern University. Other members of the delegation also visited the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Slavic Languages and Literaturess, and the Department of History respectively for various cooperative projects.

During his visit to the United States, Tan Zhemin and the delegation were warmly welcomed by NJU alumni in Chicago and Madison. Tan thanked the alumni for their long-term care and support for the development of the alma mater. He shared the recent achievements and future plans of NJU and listened to the suggestions of our alumni.
