Global scientific summer school at the University of Cambridge: System design and engineering thinking in integrated circuit and advanced manufacturing

On July 29, the "Nanjing University Global Scientific Summer School on Integrated Circuit and Advanced Manufacturing" commenced at the University of Cambridge. Organized by the School of Electronic Science and Engineering and the School of Integrated Circuits, this two-week summer school brought together 32 undergraduate students from multiple disciplines, including the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, the School of Integrated Circuits, Kuang Yaming Honors School, and Freshman College, participated in the program.

Throughout the summer school, students participated in a series of lectures, seminars, and site visits to deepen their knowledge in electronic information and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. In cooperation with NJU's National Innovation Platform for the Integration of Industry and Education in Integrated Circuits, the summer school also equipped students with the practical skills needed to tackle complex real-world problems in the integrated circuit industry.

This summer school is part of NJU Undergraduate School’s global strategy. In recent years, the school has sponsored a variety of international summer schools and scientific and research programs to promote international student mobility and enhance students' global perspectives. The summer school is also supported by NJU Office of International Affairs.
