Recently, Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee, led a delegation to visit Uzbekistan. They visited National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Technical University, Central Asian Center of Drug Discovery and Development of Chiese Academy of Sciences, and Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
In the morning of July 15, the delegation visited National University of Uzbekistan, the top comprehensive university in Uzbekistan. Ergashov Yokob Suvonovich, Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, welcomed the delegation. The two sides had discussions about future cooperation frameworks.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited Tashkent State Technical University. President Turabdjanov Sadritdin Maxamatdinovic and Vice President Oripjon Olimovich Zaripov met with the delegation. Both sides discussed on student exchange, faculty visits, joint research, academic conferences, and technology transfer.
In the afternoon, the delegation also visited the Central Asian Center of Drug Discovery and Development of Chiese Academy of Sciences. The delegation toured the laboratory, plantation base, and production workshop.
On the morning of July 16, the delegation visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies, the largest telecommunications and information university in Central Asia and the first information technology university in Uzbekistan. Vice President Sultanov Djamshid Bakhodirovich met with the delegation, and led the delegation on a tour of relevant laboratories and teaching facilities.
