On July 3, 2024, Tan Zhemin, President of NJU, led a delegation to visit Université Paris Cité. Antoine Kouchner, Vice-President in charge of International Relations at Université Paris Cité met the delegation. The two sides specifically explored the potential for increasing student mobility in science and engineering fields.

On July 4, the delegation visited the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). The two sides have long-term cooperation on astronomy.

During their stay in France, the delegation also visited IÉSEG School of Management and signed a student exchange agreement. They visited National Museum of Natural History, France to discuss personnel exchange and collaboration.
