“Social Science Perspectives” launches

With the support of multiple institutions, including the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Nanjing University, the journal Social Science Perspectives has been officially launched. 




Professor Xie Yu, Bert G. Kerstetter ’66 University Professor of Sociology, and Director of the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China at Princeton University, is the Chairman of the Advisory Board and Director of the Academic Committee for the journal. Professor Wu Xiaogang, a Professor in Sociology at New York University Shanghai, is the Honorary Editor-in-Chief. Professor Chen Yunsong from the Department of Sociology at Nanjing University and Professor Cai Tianji from the Department of Sociology at the University of Macau serve as Editors-in-Chief. 

The editorial team comprises the following members: Gong Shun, Assistant Researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Guo Wei, Professor of Sociology at NJU; Li Zhonglu, Professor of Sociology at Shandong University; and Zhou Yisu, Associate Professor at the University of Macau.

The journal is dedicated to establishing an academic platform for empirical research in the field of social sciences. The journal promotes cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, and support young Chinese scholars in their academic endeavors.
