On May 13 and 14, the Forum on Frontiers of Science & Technology: Quantum Materials and Intelligent Devices was held in Suzhou. The event was jointly organized by the Academic Divisions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and co-chaired by two Academicians of the CAS, Professor Xing Dingyu from NJU and Professor Xie Xincheng from Peking University. The forum was presented by over 140 experts and scholars from nearly 50 universities and research institutes, including four Academicians of the CAS.
During the forum, experts and scholars discussed the latest development, and explored the frontier and future trends in the field of quantum materials and intelligent devices, with a particular emphasis on the subject of “target-driven basic research.”
The Forum on Frontiers of Science & Technology is a prestigious academic event organized by the Academic Divisions of the CAC, aiming to foster the exploration, evaluation, and prediction of scientific and technological advancements.
The Forum also celebrated the establishment of the Institute of Brain-inspired Intelligence at NJU.
