China’s Ministry of Science and Technology organizes the “Top 10 Scientific Advances in China” election to highlight significant scientific breakthroughs in fundamental research in China. The list was selected by members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). This year’s list of the country’s top 10 scientific advances is the 29th annual event of its kind.
