On February 19, 2024, Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU committee and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), led a delegation to visit the CAS. Wang Keqiang, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences warmly welcomed the delegation. The two parties engaged in discussions to enhance the existing collaboration.

Throughout the meeting, both parties acknowledged the ongoing cooperation between NJU and CAS. They recognized the importance of the partnership and expressed a shared commitment to further strengthening coordination in various areas.

Discussions during the meeting focused on exploring and identifying specific measures to deepen collaboration between the two institutions. Key areas of interest included scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation, research team development, and facility construction.

The meeting was also attended by Lu Yanqing, Vice President of NJU, and Zhou Jilin, Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School.
