On January 31, Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended New Year’s greetings to academicians and experts of our university in Nanjing. 

During his visit, Xin met with Professor Lyu Jian, former president of NJU and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences

Xin also visited Profossor Bi Feiyu, Vice Chairman of the China Writers Association, Chairman of the Provincial Writers Association.

Xin emphasizes that talents are crucial resources for societal development. He underscores the need for Jiangsu to create a more inclusive and attractive environment to attract talents from diverse fields and regions. Jiangsu welcomes encourages individuals with different expertise and backgrounds to contribute to the development of the province.

Tan Tieniu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee, and Tan Zhemin, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Nanjing University, participated in the visit.
