On September 8, 2023, NJU held a conference to celebrate the 39th Teachers’ Day. The event was graced by the presence of prominent figures, including Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee and Academician of the CAS, and Tan Zhemin, President of NJU and Academician of the CAS attended the conference. The conference recognized individuals and teams that had excelled in teaching.

On September 10, Tan Tieniu and Tan Zhemin visited Academicians, University Distinguished Professors, and representatives of returned scholars. They expressed their gratitude and best wishes to the scholars.

On behalf of NJU, Tan Tieniu and Tan Zhemin sent a letter of appreciation to all faculty members and staff who have tirelessly worked on teaching, scientific research, and in service of the university. The letter concluded with encouragement for the faculty to pursue continuous self-improvement and make even greater contributions to the nation’s educational endeavors.
