On July 14, 2023, Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, visited NJU. He was accompanied by Tan Tieniu, Secretary of the CPC NJU Committee and Academician of the CAS, along with Tan Zhemin, President of NJU, and Academician of the CAS.

Xin toured the NJU History Museum, gaining insights into the rich history and legacy of the institution.

Xin visited the NJU Library.

Xin visited labs, and engaged in discussions with researchers.

Xin joined the students for lunch.

During the visit to Nanjing University, Secretary Xin expressed the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Jiangsu Provincial Government and Nanjing University. He reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Jiangsu Provincial Government for the university’s academic and research endeavors. He emphasized that the government would continue to provide resources, funding, and other necessary assistance to foster a conducive environment for academic excellence and cutting-edge research at NJU. 

The visit was also attended by several officials and representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Government and NJU.
