On May 19, Nanjing University held a congress to celebrate the 121st anniversary of its founding. Tan Tieniu, Academician of CAS and Secretary of the CPC NJU Committete, presided over the conference. Tan Zhemin, Academician of CAS and President of NJU, delivered a report on the theme of “Gathering Efforts and Striving for New Success.”

During the conference, alumnus representative Xu Ting, founder of Alphamab Oncology, faculty representatives Wang Wei and Sun Leqiang, professors from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and of the Department of Philosophy respectively, and student representative Fei Jiawei, an undergraduate of the Class of 2023 from the School of Software, shared their insights on contributing to the development and progress of the university.

The conference was also attended by representatives from various offices, schools and departments of NJU. It was also broadcast live to alumni worldwide via the internet.
