To celebrate the launch of the International Joint Laboratory for Life Evolution and Carbon Cycling (IJL-LECC) at Nanjing University, we are thrilled to announce a one-day symposium that will convene some of the brightest minds in geology, biology, climatology, paleontology, and environmental science. This event is designed to showcase the cutting-edge research and collaborative efforts that the IJL-LECC embodies, fostering discussions on the interplay between the Earth system evolution and the global carbon cycle in deep time, setting the stage for a future where understanding deep time is central to addressing the pressing environmental issues of our own era.
