On July 9, 2023, the first Nanjing University - Southeast University Doctoral Forum on Management Science and Engineering was successfully held at the School of Management and Engineering, Nanjing University. The forum was jointly organized by NJU School of Management and Engineering, Southeast University’s School of Economics and Management, the Jiangsu Operations Research Society, and the Institute for Capital Market Research in Jiangsu Province. It was initiated to explore cutting-edge academic issues encompassing various areas, such as operations and green supply chains, logistics systems optimization and management, artificial intelligence techniques and methods, as well as intelligent finance and strategic analysis.

Over fifty doctoral students from Nanjing University, Southeast University, Fuzhou University, and other institutions attended the forum. The young researchers presented their research achievements. They engaged in insightful discussions, and exchanged ideas and knowledge with their peers. A panel of professors provided valuable feedback, and offered constructive insights on research frameworks, methodologies, and practical applications.
